My Campaign Final reflection

Hello everyone,

So as you know my blog is part from my social change campaign that I am learning how to do it through my participation on GNML "Global new media lab".

And because I am exchange student from Egypt. I heard many wrong stereotype about Egypt, so this was my social change campaign. To help people know more about Egypt.

I am really thankful that I took part GNML online course, it was my first online course, and my fisrt time to learn a lot about social media.

We have done 10 session learning about social media tools and how to use it on out social change campaign.

We took time to figure out what we want to do in our social change campaign. and that helped me to look around me many times to see the issues that my community is facing. We started with our first social media tool "Bolgger". It helped me a lot ^_^ I really enjoyed design my blog and then post the information that I want people to know about Egypt. Some was about Art, Culture, even food.

We created twitter account and I learned about the hash tag power . It was my first time to understand about the hash tag. It helped me get more people who are interested in my campaign.

We also used youtube and we made a  Elevator Pitch, and here I met my challenge. it was my first time ever to do a video on Movie maker and post it on youtube. I love this session a lot.

We created a Facebook page, I have more than 50 people how like the page. This is not a big number, but it is good start.I like faceook because many people have facebook account and have access for it easily.

Instagram session was good. I don't have phone, but I made my account. It was interested how I can use Instagram if I have business, it is really good way. I hope someday I will have a phone and be more active at Instagram.

Finally, my favorite part from GNML, learning about  LInkdlen. I really liked it. It is amazing way to find people to support you on a project, or to look for a work. it is really amazing. I am sure someday of my life I will use Linkdlen on my life.

Thank you a lot GNML staff, you are all did AMAZING job teaching us in new and fun way.

Thank you a million time, for the things that will continue with me in my life. :) :)
